What I think:

I work off a simple premise.
People are people and human truth will prevail regardless of what is being sold, where it is being sold or how.
As long as you can tap into a powerful insight that touches people, you will not only achieve the desired short term results, but long term loyalty as well.

The advertising on this site represents the many talented and inspiring people I have worked with as creative director, as well as projects in my capacity as copywriter.

Background:
I started my career as a copywriter with Y&R South Africa, winning numerous local and international awards. I then joined Ogilvy & Mather as creative director/copywriter where I played a significant role in winning Ad Age Global Agency of the Year.

I went on to become Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy South Africa after which I opened Brandlab, my own creative brand consultancy/agency.
